Proposal: Employee Reward and Motivation for Retention and overall, Happiness.

  1. Created by the employee’ for the employee with full employee involvement.

  2. Gives employee recognition by being part of the reward process.

 

The focus of this proposal is to enhance the motivation and overall happiness of the employees by rewarding them in two ways.

  • Vacation

  • Monetary Reward

 

Benefit: Increase Retention and overall, Happiness for working for a rewarding employer.

 

Vacation Money Pool Operation:

Option 1: All the employees at a particular company location can participate voluntarily or just the employees that want to participate.

They add $5 or $10 Weekly or Monthly into a pool or account that combines all the funds into a pooled amount of money.

That pooled amount of money from all the employees is then used as a prize.

Each month there is a drawing performed by the employees. They pick a number or letter.

This number or letter allows the employee to do the following:

Option 1 To be chosen for the pooled amount of money.

Option 2 To be chosen for the pooled money and 1 day off from work.

Example 1:

If 10 employees participated in the pool for one month at $10 per week. ($10 per week x 10 employees = $100 per week and $400 per Month, Pooled amount of money $400)

Example 2:

If 15 employees participated in the pool for one month at $10 per week. ($10 per week x 15 employees = $150 per week and $600 per Month, Pooled amount of money $600)

 

Outcome from Example 1, Example 2:

Monthly Pooled amount of money drawing $400 or $600 plus two Days off.

 

In addition, corporations probably could negotiate hotel, flight or theme park discounts that could be used in conjunction with this Pooled Amount of money.

 

The companies that are affiliated can negotiate for discounts that would also enhance their customer base monthly making it a WIN - WIN for employees, Companies’ workers happiness would increase and finally the companies that provide great deals for corporate employees would increase their customer base and profits.
